Main Castle Accommodations   Using the main castle entrance, reserved for the tenants, access to the hall and main staircase which leads to the first floor (US : second floor) where all the bedrooms are located:  The bedrooms are completely independent . For a" virtual visit" of these rooms , you can click on the  pictures to see larger photos or go to : Bedroom-suites photo album.   The Suite "Diane de Poitiers"  with romantic canopied   bed and single bed in main bedroom and  sofa-bed for 2  in the second room, full En-Suite bathroom, small kitchen. Large TV set. For  up to  5  persons. 3-sided view of the park, Diane's pool, forest and main courtyard. Even from your bathtub, you can see lawns and hundreds of years old trees...              Bedroom Suite  "Les Moutons " with 3 single beds, full bathroom En-Suite , kitchen corner .  For  3 persons , decorated with famous 18th century "Toile de Jouy " . TV set. Views of park and forest.                      Bedroom Suite  "George Sand "  with two double beds , full  bathroom En-Suite, small kitchen. For 2-4 persons....Once the famous 19th century French writer's chamber....TV set . Views of park and forest.           "Balcony "Bedroom Suite  with one double bed and one single bed, full private shower room En-Suite. For 2-3 persons. Romantic balcony. Views of park and forest          Apartment suite "Les Cerfs"  located on the second floor (US: third floor)  with breathtaking views on the Park and forest        A very large  dining-room  -  sitting-room  -   bedroom  with  one double bed and 1 single bed                one bedroom  with one double bed and 1 single bed              a well equiped kitchen   and a full  bathroom.      If you are patient (and wake up early!), you can watch dears, roebucks and more animals in the park.       A large 19th-century dining-room  , with nice furniture On the ground floor (US : first floor) of the castle a few meters from the main entrance a large French door opens on to the independent sitting- room / dining room ,  luxurious and comfortable  with huge table , period chairs , several antique and modern sofas and armchairs to relax. This unit is independent from the others and has no communication with bedrooms. Television   with Satellite TV (CNN and many international channels )  and CD player .                   A second  smaller  dining room next to the main one with  kitchen  (electric stove, oven, dishwasher, coffeemakers, fridges , deep-fridge ) .         Adjoigning 3 rd dining room - sitting room and a very large Home Cinema       Large flat screen with  DVD player  and many DVDs (Films and cartoons)

The Rose Garden Cottage (Self-contained Guest House)  Surrounded  by all kind of "old fashioned " flowers from spring to autumn , overlooking the Rose Garden and Diane's pool: the independent and spacious self contained cottage, at once rustic and luxurious.

 

Cozy living room with period dining table and  chairs,  rustic furniture, television...views on rose garden and castle's main courtyard.

Fully equipped kitchenette: cooker, oven, fridge/freezer , washing-machine, dishwasher,  microwave, coffeemaker, iron, ironing table, china, cutlery, glasses pots, pans, utensils...

Fully carpeted Room with a wonderful canopied double-bed , plus a single bed and rustic furniture,  large walk-in wardrobe.

Bedroom on a level with the garden, with double-bed and  two single  beds, large French window opening on the park.

Dining room-kitchen with full equipment.

Large shower room and toilets.

 

Additional  laundry local with washing machine, iron and ironing board and freezer.

 

Park

The park is not open to visitors and is reserved exclusively to our guests. The Castle area is pedestrian only : no cars except for maintenance, no pollution , no danger for children. This haven of tranquility is deliciously  romantic .

Rates per week for up to 30:

	July and August     :                                    4,300 Euros
	Easter, May, Christmas, New Year :        3,700 Euros
	All other periods    :                                     3,200 Euros

In low season we may accept week ends or half week

Note: The weekly rates include all charges ,water, electricity, gas, taxes.  Rates  including  central heating  from October 1st to April 30th,  when many gites and holiday rentals charge extra costs for heating .

Kit of new recyclable   linen ( sheets, towels) offered.

These premises are rented to one party at the time. You will be the only party in the castle ...The owners live in a private wing  excluded in this rental proposal.   Accommodations are self-contained : each unit is independent and has private entrance. The park is not open to visitors and is reserved to our guests. The Castle area is pedestrian only: no cars except for maintenance, no pollution. Renting for 16-20, you will be the only party inside the castle's gates. This haven of tranquility is deliciously  romantic

 

Arrival and Departure Time:

Arrival  Saturday :  4  p.m. to 6 pm.  Departure : the following  Saturday 9 a.m.

Security Deposit: returned after  departure: 1,200 Euros

Note:

This is not a hotel.  We do not serve breakfast nor meals.

Optional Services by outside suppliers  for instance caterers . Your hosts will provide you with all the information, but you must hire these services directly.

Linen :

New in 2009! We offer our guests a welcome gift :  a new product:  anti-allergic , environmentally friendly and recyclable    linen .

Stays of a week : one  Prestige bed Kit  :  two flat sheets, two pillow cases, two bath towels  per double  bed  and two flat sheets, one  pillowcase , one bath towel  per single bed

Short stays: a standard bed Kit : 2 flat sheets, 1 bath towel   per single or double  bed .

Obviously if you prefer you can bring  your own traditional  towels , sheets and  pillow cases.

 

Rental Terms and Conditions

Sorry,  pets are not accepted.

At the time of reservation the tenant shall pay a non-refundable 30% security deposit of the total rental price. The reservation can be cancelled, but the non-refundable deposit is forfeited.

The remaining balance of  70% must be paid 45 days before arrival. If  the tenant has  not credited it to the  to  the owner's account  30 days before arrival, he is considered to  have cancelled reservation and the owner has the right to find other client  for the same period.

Tourist tax. At the reservation, please tell us the number of people over 13 years in the stay. We have an obligation and regret to be the Collector of a municipal tax : the "city tax" of 0.40 Euros per person per night, or 2.80 euros per person per week.

The security deposit has to be paid before  arrival, and is refunded according to French laws on Holiday Rentals.

An inventory of fixtures and detailed furniture inventory is  is available for the tenant.

At your departure, the premises should be left as clean and tidy as on arrival.

The private quarters of the owners are excluded in this rental proposal . The owners and their employees, gardener... keep the right to care about the garden , cut and water the grass ,and do the necessary maintenance with maximum discretion.

Guests are requested to use the parking at about hundred meters from the castle. The access of the parking is limited to private or family cars and strictly forbidden for Busses, coaches, heavy vehicles, camping cars, big trailers. Camping in forbidden on the grounds.

The described premises are at the tenant's disposal, except for cases of absolute necessity or technical reasons beyond the owner's control.

Depending on availability, you may rent the castle for shorter time periods or week-ends.
